Sister taxa: Carodnia feruglioi, Carodnia karuen, Carodnia vieirai
Type specimen: MUSM-2025, a mandible (a fragmentary right dentary with m2 and m3 and the alveoli of m1). Its type locality is Quebrada Cabeza de Vaca, which is in an Eocene fluvial sandstone in the Mogollón Formation of Peru.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Quebrada Cabeza de Vaca
