Type specimen: Amer. Mus. No. 28431, a tooth (isolated M4). Its type locality is Cerro Redondo, c. 37 m above the "Banco Verde" , which is in a Danian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the PeƱas Coloradas Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Redondo, c. 37 m above the "Banco Verde"
