Sister taxa: Uintatherium anceps, Tinoceras (Laoceras), Tinoceras (Platoceras), Tinoceras cornutum, Dinoceras (Paroceras), Dinoceras lucaris
Type specimen: IVPP V6379, a skull. Its type locality is Xiejiagou, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lushi Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
