Type specimen: UMMP 33918, a limb element (right carpometacarpus). Its type locality is Hagerman west 1, which is in a Pliocene lacustrine - large horizon in the Hagerman Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Hagerman west 1
