Type specimen: SAM P42967, a shell. Its type locality is Murray River cliff, 6 kilometers south of Morgan, which is in a Langhian marine marl in the Cadell Marl Formation of Australia.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Miocene of Australia (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
