Type specimen: TMAGZ10550, a shell. Its type locality is Lackrana, Flinders Island, which is in a Pliocene marine limestone/sandstone in the Cameron Inlet Formation of Australia.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at Lackrana, Flinders Island
