Type specimen: AMNH 45947, a partial skull (partial skull and jaws with right C, P1-4, M1-2, left C, P1-4, M2-3; right c, p1-4, m1-3; left c, p1-4). Its type locality is Divisadero Largo, which is in a Divisaderan terrestrial horizon in the Divisadero Largo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Divisadero Largo
