Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: RM 2.1188, a partial skeleton (skull table and several isolated bones). Its type locality is Coal Mine Point; Divison 4, Section XV, coal-group 15, which is in a Westphalian A mire/swamp sandstone/coal in the Joggins Formation of Canada.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of Canada (2: Nova Scotia collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
