Type specimen: NHMUK II.1396a,b, a wing. Its type locality is Smokejacks Brickworks, which is in a Barremian pond claystone/siltstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Smokejacks Brickworks
