Sister taxon: Opsieobuthus pottsvillensis

Type specimen: MfN Chemnitz TA1126, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Chemnitz petrified forest (Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf), which is in a Sakmarian/Artinskian dry floodplain tuff in the Leukersdorf Formation of Germany.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Chemnitz petrified forest (Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf)
