Type specimen: UMNH VP 20550, a partial skull. Its type locality is UMNH VP Loc. 1654, Star Seep, which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Wahweap Formation of Utah.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at UMNH VP Loc. 1654, Star Seep
