Belongs to Helvetisaurus according to Hoffstetter 1942
Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: ML (Musee de Lausanne) pl. VIII figs 3-7 in Pictet 1855-57, a partial skull (lower jaw and a portion of cranial base). Its type locality is Mormont Entreroches, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial horizon in Switzerland.
Ecology: insectivore-carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of France (6 collections), Switzerland (1)
Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
