Sister taxa: Phenacovolva (Calcaria), Phenacovolva longirostrata, Phenacovolva nectarea, Phenacovolva propheta, Phenacovolva tokioi
Type specimen: MNHN-IM-2000-3784, a shell. Its type locality is Peyrère (=Peyrehorade) marls, which is in a Chattian estuary/bay marl in the Marnes de Saint-Etienne-d’Orthe Formation of France.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Peyrère (=Peyrehorade) marls
