Type specimen: UGKU 1800, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Obermoschel , which is in an Autunian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Meisenheim Formation of Germany.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Obermoschel
