Type specimen: IVPP V3111, a tooth. Its type locality is Mengjiapo, fossil locality no. 57202, Lushi basin, which is in an Eocene lacustrine marl/siltstone in the Lushi Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mengjiapo, fossil locality no. 57202, Lushi basin
