Type specimen: MPM 10023, a tooth (anterolateral tooth). Its type locality is El Calafate airport, which is in a Maastrichtian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone/conglomerate in the Calafate Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at El Calafate airport
