Sister taxa: Bicuspidon hatzegiensis, Bicuspidon hogreli, Bicuspidon numerosus
Type specimen: UMNH VP 11627 (partial right dentary with three teeth). Its type locality is UMNH VP Loc. 162, Cedar Canyon roadcut, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Naturita Formation of Utah.
