Type specimen: IVPP V 14455.1, a tooth. Its type locality is IVPP Loc. 99005, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Suosuoquan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at IVPP Loc. 99005
