Sister taxa: Pantolambdodon inermis, Pantolambdodon minor

Type specimen: AMNH 26127, a mandible. Its type locality is Chimney Butte, North Mesa, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Shireh Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of China (2 collections), Mongolia (1)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
