Sister taxa: Pantolambdodon fortis, Pantolambdodon inermis
Type specimen: IVPP V5701, a tooth (broken M1). Its type locality is Irdin Manha (AS-5), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Arshanto Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Irdin Manha (AS-5)
