Sister taxa: Nuryctes gobiensis, Nuryctes qinlingensis
Type specimen: ZIN 86145, a mandible. Its type locality is Andarak 2, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Alai Beds Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Andarak 2
