Sister taxa: Nuryctes alayensis, Nuryctes qinlingensis
Type specimen: PIN 3107/414, a mandible. Its type locality is Khaichin Ula II [SMPE], which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Khaichin Ula II [SMPE]
