Belongs to Dzungariotherium according to Z. Qiu and B. Wang 2007
Sister taxa: Dzungariotherium orgosensis, Dzungariotherium tienshanense
Type specimen: IVPP V 4340, a partial skull. Its type locality is 1 km west of Feiyue Railway station, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Taoshuyuanzi Formation of China.

Distribution:
• Oligocene of China (3 collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
