Type specimen: IVPP V 13382, a mandible (pair of fragmentary lower jaws). Its type locality is Saerduoyila (XJ 20004), which is in an Oligocene channel sandstone in the Tieersihabahe Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at Saerduoyila (XJ 20004)
