Type specimens:
- Pappaceras confluens: AMNH 26660, a partial skull. Its type locality is 7 Miles West of Camp Margetts (1930 AMNH Gobiatherium type locality), which is in an Arshantan terrestrial claystone in the Arshanto Formation of China.
- Forstercooperia huhebulakensis: IVPP V5770, a partial skull. Its type locality is Huheboerhe (lower Arshanto), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Arshanto Formation of China.
