Type specimen: SYSU-M-3, a partial skeleton (Partial skull with the mandible and associated vertebrae). Its type locality is Maoming City Oil Shale Quarry, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian lacustrine - large shale in the Youganwo Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Maoming City Oil Shale Quarry
