Type specimen: KUVP 8702a & b, a skull (skull and counterpart). Its type locality is Hamilton Quarry, which is in a Virgilian estuary/bay shale in the Calhoun Shale Formation of Kansas.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Hamilton Quarry
