Type specimen: MCNC-PAL-110-72V, a partial skeleton (skull and postcrania). Its type locality is West of El Picacho, which is in a Miocene fluvial-deltaic siliciclastic in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at West of El Picacho
