Sister taxa: Tulites (Tulites), Tulites arabicus, Tulites cadus, Tulites tuwaiqensis
Type specimen: SM F10764, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 25, Barra area (Aramco S-1507), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Saudi Arabia (6 collections)
