Type specimen: SM F10789, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 17, Juraifa area (Aramco S-1241), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
