Type specimen: ALG-1, a partial shell (an almost complete and largely undeformed shell). Its type locality is Algora, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian coastal sandstone in the Arenas de Utrillas Formation of Spain.

Ecology: amphibious omnivore
