Type specimen: UA 9796, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Section AV4B, Level 112 m, Whittaker Fm., Avalanche Lake Area, Mackenzie Mts., which is in a Hirnantian open shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Section AV4B, Level 112 m, Whittaker Fm., Avalanche Lake Area, Mackenzie Mts.
