Sister taxon: Primaspis (Taemasaspis) bowningensis

Type specimen: ANU 17830, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Chatterton Loc. A, near Yass, NSW, which is in an Emsian marine lime mudstone/wackestone in the Taemas Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Devonian of Australia (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
