Type specimen: YPM-PU 19479, a maxilla (Right maxilla with M1-2). Its type locality is Schaff Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Schaff Quarry
