Type specimen: NMNS PM27769, a shell. Its type locality is Kurumibashi, Neohigashidani, Neo-mura, Motosu-gun, which is in a Kungurian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Funabuseyama Formation of Japan.

Ecology: stationary semi-infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Kurumibashi, Neohigashidani, Neo-mura, Motosu-gun
