Type specimen: SAM-PQL 28291, a mandible (eft dentary with i2-3, c, p2-m2 ). Its type locality is Langebaanweg unspecified Pliocene quarries, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in South Africa.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Langebaanweg unspecified Pliocene quarries
