Sister taxon: Preodontochile camprodonensis
Type specimen: NMV P312070, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is PL1369, Springfield, which is in a Telychian marine sandstone in the Springfield Formation of Australia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at PL1369, Springfield
