Sister taxa: Cadurcotherium cayluxi, Cadurcotherium minus
Type specimen: University Ljubljana specimen 5339, a tooth. Its type locality is Ugljevik, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial coal in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Ugljevik
