Type specimen: NIGP 167528, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Chentaizi, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Chentaizi
