Type specimens:
- Forstercooperia totadentata: AMNH 20116, a partial skull. Its type locality is Telegraph Line Camp, which is in an Eocene fluvial conglomerate in the Irdin Manha Formation of China.
- Forstercooperia shiwopuensis: PGMV 714, a maxilla.
Distribution: found only at Telegraph Line Camp
