Sister taxa: Dytremacephalus angulatus, Dytremacephalus asperaxis, Dytremacephalus laevis, Dytremacephalus strictus, Dytremacephalus sulcifrons
Type specimen: USNM 123319, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USGS Coll. 11-CO, which is in a Paibian marine sandstone/limestone in the Riley Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of United States (8: Nevada, Nevada and Utah, Texas, Utah collections)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
