Type specimen: USNM 177190. Its type locality is Grapevine Mountains (USGS 4144-CO), which is in a Dyeran shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Carrara Formation of California.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (8: California, Nevada collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
