Type specimen: NHMUK CH 879viii, a wing. Its type locality is Clockhouse Brickworks (BMNH collection), which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal mudstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Clockhouse Brickworks (BMNH collection)
