Type specimen: USNM 103892. Its type locality is USGS 16855, Terlingua, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the Eagle Ford Formation of Texas.
Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore
Distribution: found only at USGS 16855, Terlingua
