Type specimen: CPC 274, a partial skeleton (The holotype consists of a partial skull comprising a nearly complete right squamosal, fragments of a parietal, the left dentary and the right premaxilla, as we). Its type locality is La Salada, which is in a Campanian delta plain horizon in the Aguja Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at La Salada
