Type specimen: SAM 11754 (humerus). Its type locality is Njalila, Loc. B11, which is in an Anisian fluvial-deltaic sandstone/siltstone in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Njalila, Loc. B11
