Type specimen: LSJU 497. Its type locality is Columbia (SU NP-292) - Hickman (1980), which is in a Priabonian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene to Oligocene of United States (1: Oregon collection)

• Eocene of the Russian Federation (1), United States (13: Oregon, Washington)

Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
