Type specimen: LACMIP 11543. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1212, Little Cow Creek Valley, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the Redding Formation of California.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at CIT loc. 1212, Little Cow Creek Valley
