Type specimen: Chengdu Institute of Technology, 40. Its type locality is Maantang, Jiangyou (Hangwang Fm), which is in a Carnian marine horizon in the Hanwang Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving shallow infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Maantang, Jiangyou (Hangwang Fm)
