Sister taxon: Laosuchus hun
Type specimen: MDS-LPQ 2005-09, a skull (Nearly complete skull with its left hemi-mandible partly articulated). Its type locality is Laosuchus-type locality, which is in an Induan terrestrial siltstone in the Purple Claystone Formation of Laos.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Laosuchus-type locality
